“Coach Tum” PS1 Wisut Kasiyaphat,
one member of the working groups of the project “Home Cycling, Combating
Covid-19” revealed that the online cycling or E-Cycling through the application
Zwift on Thursday April 23 is set to ride in the Watopia Figure 8, which is smooth, com
route. Smooth, comfortable route with no uphill climb for 45 minutes at 6pm. With
live through Facebook Fanpage of Thaicycling Association Bicycle from 17.30
hrs. With techniques introduced. Including equipment recommendations Affordable
price for newbies that are just starting to ride. It is live through Facebook
fan page of ThaiCycling Association at 5.30pm. There will be various techniques
introduced, including inexpensive equipment for newcomers who are just starting
to cycle

PS1 Wisut said that the general
public with high purchasing power interested in joining the project “Home
Cycling, Combating Covid-19” may buy a smarttrainer to use because it can be
connected to the application Zwift straight away, if a new rider with not much
money may start to buy devices that are not very expensive. The first thing
that must be bought is a rear-facing trainer. The selling price in the market is
between 2,500-3,000 baht or can be 3-roller time, but it is not recommended for
beginners learning to ride. The second is a speed sensor with built-in
Bluetooth to connect with a mobile phone, smart phone, tablet, notebook or
desktop computer about 800-1,000 baht, or if anyone has an ANT + speedometer already,
then has to buy USB ANT + that is a
receiver that connects to a notebook or desktop computer, but can only connect
with some mobile phones.
"Coach Tum" said that
you then go to the Zwift application, which if you logged in with a tablet
device or a desktop computer. If you
like, try signing up with Zwift, but you have to pay a membership fee of US $
14.99 per month or around 500 baht. Tablet will spin for free for just 25 km.
If you like, go to pay the membership fee, you will get another 7 day free spin
as well. It can be seen that exercising
at home by riding under the "Home
Cycling, Combating Covid-19” project needs
not to spend expensive money to
exercise. With regard to equipment, it invests only once. The membership fee
may be cheaper than the membership fees in general gyms that are opened all
over the country.
The public people interested in
the "Home Cycling, Combating Covid-19” project, can find details on the
website of the Bicycle Sports Association. www.thaicycling.or.th and on the
